At the age of sixteen, Brendan Behan was arrested in Liverpool with a suitcase full of explosives on a mission for the IRA. This autobiographical work by the playwright describes his three subsequent years in an English reformatory. As he slowly lost his naiveté, his radical stance softened and he warmed to his fellow prisoners. Originally published in 1958.  (IRE183, $16.95)
